Carrot Flakes originates from carrots for the food industry. It’s a co-product released during the processing of food grade carrots. The carrots are washed or steam peeled and cut. The off-sized shapes or top and bottom pieces are separated and collected. Then sliced, blanched, air dried, sieved and selected. Carrot Flakes Select have a nice orange color.
